With the victory, Hermleigh improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Highland (Roscoe, TX) to confront the Hornets in a 1A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Next up, the Gorillas confront the Westbrook Wildcats (Westbrook, TX) in a 1A Region II District 14 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Trent will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 76-25 league win over Ira (Ira, TX).
