January 24, 2023: Woodstock, IL 60098 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) and the host Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), saw Marengo's basketball squad wallop Woodstock North by a tally of 48-25.
With the victory, Marengo improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL) to confront the Rockets in a Kishwaukee River challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 1-16.
Next up, the Thunder confront the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Woodstock North will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 41-21 non-league loss to Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL).
