California High School Basketball - Pinewood holds off Notre Dame

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA) and the host Notre Dame Tigers (Belmont, CA), saw Pinewood's basketball squad hold off Notre Dame by a tally of 67-61.

With the victory, Pinewood improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Menlo School (Atherton, CA) to confront the Knights in a West Bay - Foothill challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Menlo School lost 42-40 in their recent league contest against Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA)

The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Priory (Portola Valley, CA). The Panthers come into the West Bay - Foothill contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Priory edged Harker (San Jose, CA), 69-30, in a league contest.
