January 24, 2023: Scarborough, ME 04074 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) and the host Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME), saw South Portland's basketball squad overcome Scarborough by a tally of 45-31.
With the victory, South Portland improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Red Riots host Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME) to confront the Scots in a AA South challenge on Friday, January 27. The Scots come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Bonny Eagle lost 48-31 in their recent league challenge against Gorham (Gorham, ME)
Next up, the Red Storm confront the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Scarborough will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Red Eddies come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 58-46 league win over Deering (Portland, ME).
