January 24, 2023: Frederick, MD 21703 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) and the host Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD), saw Urbana's basketball squad overcome Tuscarora by a tally of 56-39.
With the victory, Urbana improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Liberty (Sykesville, MD) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Liberty lost 55-51 in their recent league challenge against Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD)
Next up, the Titans confront the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) in a Central Maryland challenge, on Friday, January 27. Tuscarora will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 63-45 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD).
