Colorado High School Basketball - Berthoud nips Sterling
January 24, 2023: Sterling, CO 80751 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) and the host Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO), saw Berthoud's basketball squad hold off Sterling by a tally of 24-18.
With the victory, Berthoud improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO) to play the Sabercats in a challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Sabercats come into the challenge with a record of 10-0.
Next up, the Tigers play the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) in a challenge, on Monday, January 30. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 32-9 league loss to Eaton (Eaton, CO).
