The Master's Academy Lions (Forest City, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC), 15-7 in a league bout.

With the win, The Master's Academy upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Lions host Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC) to play the Eagles in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Pinnacle Classical Academy won 38-13 in their recent league bout against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC)
