Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 66-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Piedmont Community Charter upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Patriots travel to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Sugar Creek lost 40-24 in their recent non-league bout against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Comets play the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Carolina International will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 40-24 non-league win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC).
