The Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Roxboro Community Bulldogs to 53 in the Flying Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Flying Lions now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henderson Collegiate for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27.

The Bulldogs (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Voyager (Durham, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Voyager triumphed over Eno River (Hillsborough, NC), 83-40, in a non-league contest.
