Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), 15-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Valley View will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record.

The Sabercats (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors come into the 5A Region 4 District 31 battle with a 1-1 record.
