January 24, 2024: Hammonton, NJ 08037 The Hammonton Blue Devils (Hammonton, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ), 72-56 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ). The go into the Cape/Atlantic - American test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Atlantic County Institute of Tech thwarted Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ), 48-45, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mainland Regional for a Cape/Atlantic - National contest on Friday, January 26. Cedar Creek will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 60-41 league win over Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-5.
