Illinois High School Basketball - Chicago University ripped by Latin
January 24, 2024: Chicago, IL 60637 In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Latin Romans basketball squad scored a big 64-36 victory over the Chicago University Maroons.
With the victory, Latin upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Romans host Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL) to play the Colonels in a Independent School challenge on Friday, January 26. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Francis W. Parker lost 59-56 in their recent league challenge against Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL)
Next up, the Maroons play the Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) in a Independent School challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Chicago University will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 68-38 non-league win over Camanche (Camanche, IA).
