Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mercer overwhelms Commodore Perry
January 24, 2024: Mercer, PA 16137 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) and the visiting Commodore Perry Panthers (Hadley, PA), saw Mercer's basketball squad wallop Commodore Perry by a tally of 71-28.
With the victory, Mercer improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA) to confront the Big Reds in a District 10 Region 2 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Big Reds come into the challenge with a record of 4-12.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Rocky Grove Orioles (Franklin, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Commodore Perry will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 71-31 league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, PA).
