January 24, 2024: University Place, WA 98466 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) and the visiting Rogers Rams (Puyallup, WA), saw Curtis's basketball squad hold off Rogers by a tally of 78-71.
With the victory, Curtis improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA) to confront the Wolves in a 4A South Puget Sound - North challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. South Kitsap lost 51-43 in their recent league challenge against Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA)
Next up, the Rams confront the Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound - South challenge, on Friday, January 26. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 55-39 league loss to Olympia (Olympia, WA).
