January 24, 2024: Niles, IL 60714 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) basketball squad felled the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), by a margin of 64-53.
The Knights (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the Independent School outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, Elgin Academy thwarted Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL), 59-56, in a league outing.
The Caxys now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Phillips for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Lake Forest Academy will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-59 league win over Brooks (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-8.
