January 24, 2024: Webb, MS 38966 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS) and the visiting Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS), saw West Tallahatchie's basketball squad overcome Simmons by a tally of 58-47.
With the victory, West Tallahatchie improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Choctaws host Shaw (Shaw, MS) to play the Warriors in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-15.
Next up, the Blue Devils play the South Delta Bulldogs (Rolling Fork, MS) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Simmons will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 56-45 league win over West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS).
