Arkansas High School Basketball - The New School overwhelms St. Paul
January 24, 2024: St. Paul, AR 72760 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the The New School Cougars (Fayetteville, AR) and the host St. Paul Saints (St. Paul, AR), saw The New School's basketball squad wallop St. Paul by a tally of 87-35.
With the victory, The New School improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Decatur (Decatur, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 1 West challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-13.
Next up, the Saints confront the County Line Indians (Branch, AR) in a 1A Region 1 West challenge, on Thursday, January 25. St. Paul will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 17-10 record after their 46-45 league win over Ozark Catholic Academy (Springdale, AR).
