Alaska High School Basketball - Bettye Davis East Anchorage overwhelmed by West Anchorage
January 24, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99508 The West Anchorage Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Anchorage for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29.
The Thunderbirds (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK). The Golden Bears come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Bartlett triumphed over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK), 70-35, in a non-league contest.
