The Sweet Home Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Amherst Central Tigers to 51 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Sweet Home will battle a Sharks team coming off a 73-25 league loss to Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY). The Sharks record now stands at 6-8.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Seneca West (West Seneca, NY). The Warhawks come into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, West Seneca West edged Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY), 63-28, in a non-league contest.
