Kentucky High School Basketball - Model tipped by Garrard County
January 24, 2024: Richmond, KY 40475 The Garrard County Golden Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Model Patriots to 58 in the Golden Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Golden Lions now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln County for a District 45 contest on Friday, January 26. Garrard County will meet a Patriots team coming off a 52-36 league loss to Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 8-7.
The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Burgin nudged Sayre (Lexington, KY), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
