In Wednesday's league outing, the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV), by a margin of 65-27.

The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies go into the Coalfield AA outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Nicholas County was trounced by Lewis County (Weston, WV), 76-43, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they host WestSide for a Coalfield AA outing on Thursday, January 25. Shady Spring will clash with a Renegades squad coming off a 44-42 league win over Independence (Coal City, WV). The Renegades record now stands at 6-5.
