Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 57-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Verdugo Hills upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Arleta (Arleta, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Friday, January 26. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 10-11. Arleta won 62-56 in their recent league bout against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA)

Next up, the Parrots play the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 1-0 league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA).
