Texas High School Basketball - Adrian holds off Hartley
January 24, 2025: Hartley, TX 79044 The Adrian Matadors basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Hartley Tigers to 62 in the Matadors league triumph on Friday.
The Matadors now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Channing for a 1A Region I District 3 game on Tuesday, January 28. Adrian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Hartley falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wildorado (Wildorado, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 1A Region I District 3 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 16-7. Wildorado lost 78-47 in their recent league game against Texline (Texline, TX)
