With the victory, Vinton-Shellsburg advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Vikings host Jesup (Jesup, IA) to face the J-Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The J-Hawks enter the match with a record of 7-6. Jesup won 73-53 in their recent league match against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA)
The Bobcats now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monticello for a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. Benton will face a Panthers team coming off a 54-48 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-4.
