Maryland High School Basketball - Boys Latin trounced by Our Lady of Mount Carmel
January 24, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21221 Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Boys Latin Lakers (Baltimore, MD), 82-61 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Our Lady of Mount Carmel advances its record to 21-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to John Carroll (Bel Air, MD) to face the Patriots in a MIAA A - Black match on Monday, January 27. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 11-9. John Carroll won 59-46 in their recent league match against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD)
The Lakers now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonogh for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Boys Latin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 12-8.
