In Monday's non-league contest, the host Glenelg Country Dragons basketball team scored a good 61-52 triumph over the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars.

The Dragons (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD). The Lakers go into the MIAA A - Black contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Boys Latin was topped by Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD), 69-67, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A - Red contest, on Wednesday, February 5.
