Maryland High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy holds off Glenelg Country
January 24, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21202 The St. Frances Academy Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Glenelg Country Dragons to 55 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mount St. Joseph for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. St. Frances Academy will confront a Gaels team coming off a 72-49 non-league win over Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD). The Gaels record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Glenelg Country falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Dragons host John Carroll (Bel Air, MD) to confront the Patriots in a MIAA A - Black game on Friday, January 31. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 11-10.
