January 29, 2025: Bel Air, MD 21015 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD) and the visiting St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD), observed John Carroll's basketball team edge St. Frances Academy by a margin of 60-54.
The Patriots (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD). The Dragons come into the MIAA A - Black challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Glenelg Country was tipped by St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD), 58-55, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD) in a MIAA A - Red challenge, on Friday, January 31. St. Frances Academy will attempt to better on its 19-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 54-45 non-league win over Gilman (Baltimore, MD).
