Kentucky High School Basketball - Calvary Christian triumphant over Dayton
January 24, 2025: Covington, KY 41015 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY) and the visiting Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY), observed Calvary Christian's basketball team overwhelm Dayton by a score of 75-34.
The Cougars (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, St. Patrick trounced Covington Latin (Covington, KY), 60-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Greendevils battle the Villa Madonna Vikings (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Dayton will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 68-34 non-league loss to Heritage Academy (Florence, KY).
