Texas High School Basketball - Dodd City overwhelms Campbell
January 24, 2025: Dodd City, TX 75438 The Dodd City Hornets basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Campbell Indians to 22 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now have a 9-20 record. They play next when they travel to Fannindel for a 1A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, January 28. Dodd City will confront a Falcons team coming off a 73-67 league loss to Savoy (Savoy, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 7-14.
With the loss, Campbell falls to 1-20 on the campaign. The Indians host Miller Grove (Cumby, TX) to confront the Hornets in a 1A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 7-14. Miller Grove lost 54-49 in their recent league game against Ector (Ector, TX)
