In Friday's league contest, the host Corinth Warriors basketball team scored a good 50-40 win over the Pontotoc Warriors.

The Warriors (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Alcorn Central defeated Belmont (Belmont, MS), 43-36, in a league contest.
