Rhode Island High School Basketball - Cranston East overwhelms Hope
January 24, 2025: Cranston, RI 02910 The Cranston East Thunderbolts basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Hope Blue Wave to 34 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Thunderbolts now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Warwick for a Division II game on Monday, January 27. Cranston East will confront a Wizards team coming off a 68-54 league win over Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Wizards record now stands at 11-3.
With the loss, Hope falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Blue wave travel to Block Island (New Shoreham, RI) to confront the in a Division III game on Saturday, January 25.
