In Thursday's league contest, the host Scituate Spartans basketball team scored a close 51-48 triumph over the Hope Blue Wave.

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.

In their next game, the Blue Wave battle the New Mission Titans (Boston, MA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Hope will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
