North Carolina High School Basketball - Seaforth knocks off Cummings

January 24, 2025: Burlington, NC 27217

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Seaforth Hawks basketball team scored a good 63-43 win over the Cummings Cavaliers.

The Hawks (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers come into the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Bartlett Yancey was topped by Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC), 72-57, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Graham Red Devils (Graham, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Cummings will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 57-56 non-league loss to Vance County (Henderson, NC).
