In Friday's league test, the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) basketball squad defeated the host Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO), by a final score of 70-58.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental test, on Wednesday, January 29. Douglas County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Wolverines come into the test with a 12-3 record after their 70-65 league win over Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO).
