In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mountain Vista Golden Eagles basketball team scored a big 78-52 win over the Highlands Ranch Falcons.

The Golden Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO). The Huskies come into the 6A/5A Continental contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Douglas County was trounced by Chaparral (Parker, CO), 73-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental contest, on Friday, January 31. Highlands Ranch will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Peak to Peak (Lafayette, CO).
