Texas High School Basketball - Ector nips Miller Grove
January 24, 2025: Cumby, TX 75433 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Ector Eagles basketball team scored a close 54-49 win over the Miller Grove Hornets.
The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Savoy (Savoy, TX). The Cardinals come into the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 10-17 record. In their last contest, Savoy edged Fannindel (Ladonia, TX), 73-67, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Campbell Indians (Campbell, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Miller Grove will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 1-20 record after their 56-22 league loss to Dodd City (Dodd City, TX).
