January 24, 2025: Brownsville, KY 42210 Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY), 62-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Grayson County advances its record to 15-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY) to meet the Bruins in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 12-5. Central Hardin lost 60-57 in their recent league match against North Hardin (Radcliff, KY)
The Wildcats now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan County for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Edmonson County will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 83-53 league win over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 9-6.
