In Tuesday's league test, the LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Fruitvale Bobcats (Fruitvale, TX), by a score of 81-20.

Next, the Flyers clash with the Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 test, on Tuesday, January 21. LaPoynor will attempt to improve on its 19-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 25-1 record after their 84-39 league win over Cayuga (Cayuga, TX).
