Georgia High School Basketball - Gatewood fells Trinity Christian
January 24, 2025: Eatonton, GA 31024 The Gatewood Gators basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Trinity Christian Crusaders to 53 in the Gators league triumph on Friday.
The Gators now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Westfield School for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Gatewood will confront a Hornets team coming off a 63-49 non-league loss to Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, Trinity Christian falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Windsor Academy (Macon, GA) to confront the Knights in a GIAA AA Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Knights go into the game with a record of 6-13.
