North Valley Christian Academy Lions (Phoenix, AZ) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Glendale Prep Academy Griffins (Glendale, AZ), 68-53 in a league match.

With the victory, North Valley Christian Academy advances its record to 13-5 on the year. The Lions host Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ) to face the Crimson Knights in a 2A West match on Tuesday, January 28. The Crimson Knights enter the match with a record of 3-13. Trivium Prep won 42-40 in their recent non-league match against BASIS Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

The Griffins now own a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Prep for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30.
