California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon holds off Helix
January 24, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91978 The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Helix Highlanders to 54 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Monte Vista for a Grossmont - Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. Steele Canyon will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 73-70 league win over Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 13-9.
