Indiana High School Basketball - Princeton bests Washington

January 24, 2025: Washington, IN 47501

The Princeton Tigers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Washington Hatchets to 42 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Boonville for a Pocket game on Tuesday, January 28. Princeton will play a Pioneers team coming off a 63-61 non-league win over Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Washington falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Hatchets travel to Pike Central (Petersburg, IN) to play the Chargers in a Pocket game on Saturday, January 25. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 1-13. Pike Central lost 49-43 in their recent non-league game against North Knox (Bicknell, IN)
