California High School Basketball - Franklin knocks off Monterey Trail
January 24, 2025: Elk Grove, CA 95757 In Friday's league contest, the host Franklin Wildcats basketball team scored a good 44-34 win over the Monterey Trail Mustangs.
The Wildcats (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals come into the contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Laguna Creek was topped by Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 78-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) in a contest, on Monday, January 27. Monterey Trail will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 6-7 record after their 55-51 league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA).
