The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) and the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), observed Spring Creek's basketball team knock off Lowry by a score of 61-43.

The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Churchill County was knocked off by Dayton (Dayton, NV), 41-39, in a league challenge.
