The Newfane Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Barker Bulldogs to 20 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Wilson for a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans game on Tuesday, January 28.

With the loss, Barker falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Albion (Albion, NY) to play the Purple Eagles in a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans game on Tuesday, January 28. The Purple Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-1. Albion lost 49-47 in their recent non-league game against Warsaw (Warsaw, NY)
