The Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) basketball were winner over the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN), 37-25 in Friday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to University School for a non-league bout on Monday, January 27.

With the loss, Cherokee falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Chiefs host North Greene (Greeneville, TN) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 17-3. North Greene won 50-33 in their recent league bout against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN)
