Virginia High School Basketball - Colonial Forge nudges Massaponax
January 24, 2025: Stafford, VA 22554 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA) and the visiting Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA), observed Colonial Forge's basketball team edge Massaponax by a score of 38-31.
The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Wildcats come into the Commonwealth challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Mountain View was tipped by Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 51-21, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Brooke Point Black Hawks (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Massaponax will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Black Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 44-33 league loss to Stafford (Falmouth, VA).
