January 24, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 The Mt. Pleasant Oilers basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Davison Cardinals to 33 in the Oilers league triumph on Friday.
The Oilers now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Big Rapids for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 50-23 league win over Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-1.
With the loss, Davison falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI) to confront the Chargers in a Saginaw Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 8-3. Powers Catholic won 71-23 in their recent league game against Central (Bay City, MI)
