Michigan High School Basketball - Midland fells Mt. Pleasant
January 31, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 The Midland Chemics basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers to 41 in the Chemics league triumph on Friday.
The Chemics now have a 11-1 record. They play next when they host Davison for a Saginaw Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. Midland will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 58-45 league loss to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Heritage (Saginaw, MI) to confront the Hawks in a Saginaw Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 11-3. Heritage lost 53-36 in their recent league game against Midland (Midland, MI)
